So the new site is finally live. It's too late in the evening (well, morning) to write anything coherent about what's new and interesting, and why it's taken so long to get this far.
Instead, I'll just say that for the last few weeks I've been building rough implementations of a lot of concepts that I've been thinking about for a long time. Although it's not much to look at yet and probably doesn't validate, I'm quite pleased with the results so far.
Of course, it is all still very much a work in progress. More functionality, content and stuff will be added soon.
